Free Admission to Jacksonville Art Museums

On Saturday, September 24th, Smithsonian Magazine is sponsoring “Museum Day,” a special event allowing you and a friend to visit a museum in your area absolutely free. Participating museums in the downtown St. Augustine area include the Colonial Spanish Quarter Museum, the Government House Museum of History and Archaeology and the Lightner Museum. If you’d like to use the opportunity to see some art on the cheap, the Cummer Museum of Art & Gardens and the  Museum of Contemporary Art up in Jacksonville are also participating.
