A big thanks to those who attended Friday’s meeting!  I forgot my camera, so no images for this post.  The topic was inspiration, and attendees made connections between Edward Hopper from the ’30s, several Illustrators, different Impressionists, Realists, and a spin with printmaking and photography.  I spent some time sharing the history of Robert Ripley and his evolution from political cartoonist to world traveler. The meeting closed with a follow-up for “pint-making” at Ann O’Malley’s Pub.

Attendees included:

  • Kevin of Palm Coast (oil on canvas/upholstery/tattoo)
  • Sue of St. Augustine (History Lover and Art Lover)
  • Kiz formerly of Santa Fe (Printmaking and multimedia)
  • Dotty of St. Augustine (Lover of Art and the written word)
