Locations for Upcoming Drawing & Painting Sessions

Back behind the St. Augustine Alligator Farm is a street which offers a favorable view of the Lighthouse behind a row of trees. We’ll get together at 9am to render the scene. To get there, cross the Bridge of Lions into Davis Shores and drive a little more than a mile. Before you get to the Alligator Farm, turn right onto Carver Street, then take the 1st left onto Kenan St. From there, take the 2nd left onto Ferdinand Avenue. Continue to the very end of Ferdinand where a vacant lot is for sale.

The shadiest location will probably be Magnolia Avenue. After we meet at the Vilano Boat ramp, we might consider looking at the Vilano Pier since they have benches and a little bit of shade in some spots. Maybe we can email eachother if we are at locations earlier than 9am to beat the heat of the sun. Whew it got hot quickly on Sunday morning at Ferdinand Avenue behind the lighthouse! Word to the wise—bring portable shade if you can. I think we will set up a 10×10 canopy tent at the Boat Ramp.
