First Sunday Drawing Session at the City Gates
St. Augustine's City Gates was the venue for our Sunday morning drawing session on September…
In conjunction with St. Augustine’s First Friday Artwalk, the Anonymous Society of Artists will hold its monthly meeting from 7pm to 8pm tonight at Ann O’Malley’s Deli & Pub. We will use this opportunity to catch up with one another, plan future group activities and welcome new artists. Also during the meeting our group’s founders will be sharing their preliminary ideas for the 2013 Celtic Festival poster design. We hope to see you!
Then coming up on Sunday morning, July 8th, at 9am, we have decided to change our plein air drawing and painting location to a lakeside in St. Augustine Shores. We worked from this lake previously, however, on this occasion we will be meeting at the north end of the lake. To get there, travel south on US-1. Turn left onto Vaill Point Road right after you pass over Moultrie Creek. Follow Vaill Point Road for less than a mile, then look for the lake dam on your right. There is plenty room to pull off the road and park next to a telephone pole. View the exact location on Google Maps.
Also on Tuesday, July 10, at 7pm we will be meeting at St. Augustine Beach’s brand new community art studio for a live model drawing session. The session costs just $10 per person. The studio is located in the old St. Augustine Beach city hall building beside the County Pier and splash park at 370 Beach Blvd.
