Dates: Sunday, January 12 and 19, 2014
Time: 9:00am
Location: Municipal Marina, 111 Avenida Menendez, St. Augustine, FL 32084
As a part of St. Augustine’s 450th celebration, the Municipal Marina is currently hosting two 16th century Spanish ships, the Nao Victoria and El Galeón. Tomorrow morning and next Sunday we will meet up at the marina to take advantage of this unique opportunity to draw and paint these historic vessels.
As with all of our plein air events, regular participants and newcomers alike are welcome to join us. If you are interested in participating, your best bet for parking may be along the bayfront near Santa Maria Restaurant. Please note that all metered parking spaces are free on Sundays. At 9am, we will meet up in front of the marina’ main building (pictured on the right) to decide upon the best vantage point/s from which to work.
For more information about the Nao Victoria and El Galeón, visit the St. Augustine’s 450th website.
