Change of Plans: Lightner Museum Today

Our original plan for this morning was to revisit the City Marina to draw and paint the historic vessels once more, but given that the temperature outside will be in the 40’s at 9am, we’ve decided to relocate indoors to the Lightner Museum. The Lightner has an interesting variety of collections ranging from painting and sculptures to ornate furniture and cut glassware.

We’ll meet up in the museum lobby when it opens at 9am. Like several other local points of interest, the Lightner Museum offers free admission to County residents, so please remember to bring your I.D. with you. You may also want to bring a lightweight folding chair along, as well.
