Lightner Museum Courtyard for Tomorrow Morning

We’re looking at a 30% chance of showers in the morning, but if the weather is favorable, the Anonymous Society of Artists will get together in the courtyard of the Lightner Museum for our next plein air drawing and painting session. With its attractive garden lush with colorful flowers and plants and its small stone footbridge across a trickling koi pond, the courtyard caught our attention when we visited the museum a few weeks back. It’s no wonder it’s a favorite spot for local wedding photographers.

We’ll meet up at 9:00am inside the courtyard, as that is the time the front gates are normally opened by museum staff. If you’d like to arrive earlier than 9:00am, it should be possible to access the courtyard before the gates are opened using the side entrance on Granada Street. In the event that we are rained out this week, let’s plan to try once again next Sunday morning, February 9th.
