Six Days until Mumford and Sons
Celebrate with some quiet moments for a sketch session at DOS Coffee and Wine Bar,…
As a reminder, our next monthly meeting will be this Friday, August 26th, from 6pm until 8pm at the Ripley’s Red Sightseeing Train building right next to Ann O’Malley’s Pub downtown. The address is 3 Cordova Street, St. Augustine FL, 32084.
Inspiration and the artists who influence us will be our meeting topic. Attendees are encouraged to discuss the artist who have influenced them the most and share examples of that artist’s work. Our meeting will also include a presentation on the art of Robert Ripley which made him a millionaire.
As always, artists and art lovers alike are welcome to participate. Admission will be $2.00 for artists and $5.00 for those who enjoy art.
Artists are also invited to join us every Sunday for drawing sessions at scenic locations in and around St. Augustine. This coming Sunday and next, August 21 and 28, we will be working inside the Villa Zorayda Museum at 11:15am. Spaces are limited for this exclusive drawing session, so please contact us at (904) 635-0941 or [email protected] if you would like to participate. Please remember to bring drop clothes and take care to protect the valuable museum displays. The two Sundays which follow, September 4 and 11, we will work at the Castillo de San Marcos National Park at 8am.
