Recap from May 2013 Artwalk

The Anonymous Society of Artists celebrated their second anniversary by supporting its members at local events.  Scott Water’s had his art opening  at Tim’s Wine Market on Anastasia Island.  Michael purchased one of Scott’s originals on display which we recognized as the Fountain of Youth location.  That painting was done during one our earliest plein air sessions as a fledgling art group.

After celebrating with Scott, we hopped over the Bridge of Lions to Charlotte Street and stopped in at the P.A.S.T.A. gallery to chat with Jim Christley,  then strolled one block over to the Art Association.   After much ado about the Mosaic Project on display at the St. Augustine Art Association, we were sad to see the gallery closed for bad weather.  Lots of puddle dodging after two days of severe downpours nicknamed the Mad Monsoon.
