Sketch With Us Sunday at 3pm at DOS

Bring your sketchbook and draw with the Anonymous Society of Artists tomorrow at 3pm at DOS Coffee & Wine. If you’ve never been to DOS, it has a great atmosphere for artists, with plenty of open space, natural light, free wifi and wide selection of beverages.

We’ve had quite a few new artists and art enthusiasts sign up for our email mailing list over the past few weeks, so we strongly encourage any and all of you to come on out and join us. We’d love to meet you!

To get to DOS from Downtown St. Augustine, head north on San Marco Avenue just about 2 miles. You’ll pass the Ripley’s Believe It or Not Museum, the carousel at Davenport Park, Florida School for the Deaf and Blind and the big “Fort Menendez” wooden fortress. Just past the blue Travelodge & Suites sign you’ll find DOS Coffee & Wine on your left at 300 San Marco. If the road merges with US-1 North, you’ve gone too far. Also, on Friday at 5:30pm, don’t miss the opening reception for our good friend Jim Christley’s new art show at the Grand Bohemian Gallery at 49 King Street. It’s just east of the Casa Monica Hotel’s valet tunnel. In addition to being an accomplished maritime painter, Jim has been a longtime participant in our art events, so let’s show our support for Jim and crowd the gallery.
